As I was looking through the "Blogs that inspire" links, I was surprised to see the name Lauren Kaiser under the one blog titled Type Theory. I clicked on it, and a hand lettered book she created over Little Red Riding Hood was featured. Lauren happens to be my cousin, who is a graphic design major at WSU and will be graduating this May. I remember her showing me this project last year, and I thought it was pretty neat her work was featured on this site. I am always drawn to hand lettered type, and I think her book is a great example of how you can convey a message/feeling using type only. As you will notice in the pictures below, this book has no illustrations or pictures.
